52nd Annual Lions Club Fort Myers Beach Shrimp Festival

You haven't experienced a true shrimp boil until you attend the Lions Club Fort Myers Beach Shrimp Festival. Celebrating an industry that has made a major impact on our local economy, every year the Lions Club puts together one of the tastiest festivals around. Delivered straight from our Shrimp Boat Fleet, the Lions Club serves over 1,000 pounds of succulent sweet delicious Gulf Pink Shrimp over the two day event. It all starts on Saturday morning with a two hour beach parade then the line starts forming for the most mouth-watering shrimp boils. The secret of the perfectly cooked 'peel and eat' shrimp have been passed down from boil master to boil master through the years. The Lions have their own secret recipe for the cocktail sauce for you to savor.

Festival goers have the opportunity to browse and buy from the 100 beach crafters and vendors who have made this one of the best beach festivals in the South. Attendees also enjoy music, entertainment and other food selections.
