Smaller Gastropods

Smaller Gastropods

There are many smaller gastropods available all along our beaches. They are too numerous to all be pictured, and many are too small to show discernible color and pattern variations.  They can, however, be beautiful additions to any color-based gastropod collection.

Shown in the picture, from left to right, starting with the top row: the Atlantic modulus, the tinted cantharus, the chestnut turban, the jasper cone, the oyster drill, the eastern nassa, the common American auger, the Florida cerith, and the common Atlantic bubble shell.
